About the Church
All Saints' Cathedral, also known as Patthar Girja (Church of Stones), is a historic Anglican cathedral in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Designed by British architect Sir William Emerson in 1871, the church is an excellent example of Gothic Revival architecture. It was consecrated in 1887 and completed in 1891.
This magnificent church is well-known for its stained-glass windows, intricate marble and stone carvings, and high-vaulted ceilings. The Victoria Tower serves as a memorial to Queen Victoria. The entire cathedral is set in a serene lush green garden, making it a peaceful retreat for visitors and worshippers alike.
