Description

Mindrolling Monastery, situated in Clement Town near Dehradun, Uttarakhand, is one of India's largest and most significant centers of Tibetan Buddhism. Established in 1965 by Khochhen Rinpoche and fellow monks who fled Tibet following the 1959 Chinese invasion, the monastery was founded to preserve the teachings and traditions of the Nyingma school, the oldest of the four major schools of Tibetan Buddhism
