The temple is one of India’s few surviving Chausath Yogini temples, dedicated to 64 Yoginis fierce female deities associated with Goddess Durga.


Temple Description

Built in circular architecture from granite stone, the temple has 64 small shrines arranged around a central shrine of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati seated on Nandi. It is accessible via nearly 100 steps leading to the top of a small hill.
