Shri Renuka Ji Temple is a revered Hindu shrine dedicated to Goddess Renuka, the mother of Lord Parashurama. It is situated near Renuka Lake, one of the most picturesque and spiritually significant locations in Himachal Pradesh.
Temple Description
The temple is built on the banks of Renuka Lake, which is considered to be the embodiment of Goddess Renuka herself. According to legend, after her death, Renuka’s body transformed into the lake. The temple houses idols of Renuka Ji and her son, Lord Parashurama, and draws pilgrims especially during the annual Renuka Fair.
