It consists of three interconnected shrines representing the three life stages of Lord Shiva Arunachaleswara (childhood), Bhoga Nandeeshwara (youth), and Uma Maheshwara (married life). Built originally by the Bana dynasty and developed over time by the Cholas, Hoysalas, and Vijayanagara kings, this temple showcases a blend of artistic and spiritual heritage. It also houses a large stepwell (pushkarini) and intricate stone carvings.
