General Motors (GM) Plant Halol, Panchmahal - Gujarat

The General Motors (GM) Plant at Halol, Panchmahal, Gujarat, was one of the pioneering automobile manufacturing units in western India. Established in 1996, it played a significant role in GM’s Indian operations for over two decades, producing a variety of vehicles for domestic and export markets. Though GM ceased operations in 2017, the plant continues to function under MG Motor India, keeping Halol’s automotive legacy alive.
