About
Namdapha National Park is one of India’s largest protected areas, covering about 1,985 km². Declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1972 and upgraded to a National Park & Tiger Reserve in 1983, it is part of the Eastern Himalaya biodiversity hotspot.

The only park in India that hosts all four big cats: Tiger, Leopard, Clouded Leopard, and Snow Leopard.
Home to the Namdapha Flying Squirrel (critically endangered and found only here) and the Hoolock Gibbon (India’s only ape).
