WHO Standard Formula (1 Liter)
- Water: 1 Liter (1000 ml)
- Sugar: 6 level teaspoons (40 grams)
- Salt: ½ level teaspoon (3.5 grams)
For 1 glass (200 ml), divide the measurements by 5.
⚠️ Critical Safety Rules
- Measure carefully. Too much salt can be dangerous.
- Always use boiled and cooled or bottled drinking water.
- Do not boil the mixture after adding sugar and salt.
- Discard leftover ORS after 24 hours.
- Seek medical help if dehydration becomes severe.
