Preparation Steps

  1. Boil water and add soya chunks.
  2. Cook for 5–7 minutes, then drain the water.
  3. Wash with cold water and squeeze the chunks well.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds and cumin seeds.
  5. Add curry leaves, green chillies and sliced onion.
  6. Sauté until onion turns light golden.
  7. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1 minute.
  8. Add tomato, capsicum and spice powders.
  9. Add boiled soya chunks and mix well.
  10. Stir fry for 5–6 minutes until masala coats well.
  11. Finish with garam masala and coriander leaves.
